Film Production & Applied English
ELA’s Film Production & Applied English course takes you on a quest to discover the secret gems of Edinburgh city centre – with you as the presenter of your own video diary! Create a life-long memory of your unforgettable trip to Scotland’s historic capital.
What is ELA’s Film Production & Applied English course?
Over ten school days, students will traverse Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns – and perhaps outside the city to nearby small towns and villages to record images, thoughts and impressions in this exciting multi-medial based project. The programme will wend its way through ghosts and legends, arts and culture, history and modernity, food, fashion, sports and leisure – and much more!
The resulting video diary can be shared with friends and family and can even form part of school project work.
To prepare for the practical elements of the quest, each morning begins with English language and preparation for the day’s adventure. Qualified and experienced teachers lead the students as they prepare, write and record their views.
Maximum class size: 15
