This unique study course will provide a programme of English Language, confidence building in fluency and communication skills development through learning the skills required for participating in Model UN Conferences and other simulation conferences.
These include leadership, communication and negotiation skills, public speaking, problem solving, conflict resolution, concensus building, research, resolution writing and teamwork. When is ELA’s Model UN training taking place?
A Model UN Training course will take place every October. In 2017, these one week training programmes will run from 9th – 15th and 16th – 22nd October. A modified version of this programme is available throughout the year for groups unable to come to the October training.
Why should you participate in Model UN training?
Model UN promotes students' and teachers' interest in the world around them and broadens a student's knowledge in a variety of subjects. Model UN training also teaches vital skills mentioned above. Model UN training also gives students and teachers the opportunity to meet interesting new people and make new friends. From this training, your school could develop its own Model UN Conference or participate in one of the many Conferences held across Europe.

PON groups at ELA – Great learning experience, combining intensive English practice with fun-filled social activities!
The class is made up of 15 students. The schedule is divided as follows: General English 9-12:30, then Exam Practice 13:30-14:30. Exams taken are Trinity GESE OR Cambridge ESOL suite PET, FCE CAE, or IELTS Preparation. All the teachers are experienced and qualified, with experience in teaching the particular exam that has been chosen for the group. The students take a placement test before arrival, to allow the academic team to choose the best suited materials.#VIDEO#
